COMMUNITY CHURCH BRICKLAYERS IN BLOXWICH
Kirk Yates Building was tasked to lay the sub-floors and brickwork as part of a community church extension in Bloxwich. The original timber extension was knocked down except for two walls, and foundations were laid by third parties prior our arrival on site.
Our job was to lay the sub-floors and to build the walls for the new extension, which wrapped around the property. The walls were made up of 100mm thermalite block to 100mm full fill cavity bats to facing brick outer skin. We dispatched two of our bricklayers to Bloxwich to carry out the works which included multiple apexes, brick on edge soldier courses above windows and a lighter facing brick centre piece.

Brick courses continuing around the front of the community church building. You can see the make-up of the walls is 100mm inner skin, 100mm cavity and 100mm outer skin.

At this stage our bricklayers in Bloxwich have built the outer skin to the point where scaffolding is to be installed.
